It’s no secret, for better or for worse, that Easter means lots of chocolate eggs. The Easter Egg Hunt is a long standing tradition in many households around the world, so why not turn it into an opportunity to help your preschoolers practice their colours.

Colour matching easter egg hunt
What you’ll need:
- Plastic cups
- Coloured cupcake liners
- Mini-multicoloured chocolate eggs
All you have to do now is slip one coloured cupcake liner into the bottom of each plastic cup, and hand each child their own colour. While they’re not looking hide 5 eggs in the same colours as the cups, and then let the children go find them. If they find an egg which is not their colour, they need to put it back. Ok, so the putting it back bit might be tricky; but that’s just another hidden lesson in this Easter Activity!
