You can make a cute little clay shamrock with your preschooler simply by rolling balls and sticking them together. Teach your child to roll a ball out of clay. This is a great hands on technique that can be used to make a variety of clay objects, but for today we’ll make a shamrock. make 3 the same size and a forth a bit smaller. Stick the balls together, gently flattening each as you go along.
You can add extra accents using the end of a paint brush or pencil. Add a little sparkle by painting on glitter or a clear acrylic paint. You could even poke a holes to create a button or a pendant for a necklace.
